The problem

Buyers increasingly get their shortlist from an AI answer before they ever open a search results page. If the model doesn't know you exist, you're not in the running — and no rank tracker will tell you why.

Foundations 4–8 weeks, results build over 3–6 months

What is Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO), and how does it differ from SEO?

Generative Engine Optimisation is the work of getting a brand named and cited inside AI-generated answers — ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Gemini, Perplexity and Copilot. SEO competes for a position on a results page; GEO competes to be the source an answer is built from. Answer Engine Optimisation is the narrower discipline of structuring content so a specific question can be answered from it directly.

What's included

What we actually build

  • Technical SEO: crawl, index, Core Web Vitals, hreflang for EN/AR
  • UAE keyword and intent research — including transliterated and Arabic queries
  • GEO / AEO: structured data, entity building and citable content so answer engines can quote you
  • Local SEO: Google Business Profile, UAE directories, Arabic NAP consistency
  • Digital PR and link acquisition from regional publications
What changes
  • Non-brand organic traffic that compounds
  • Presence in AI-generated answers
  • Reduced dependence on paid clicks

We baseline these before the build starts. Without a before, the after is just a claim.

Questions

SEO, GEO & AEO: the questions buyers ask first

Short answers, written to stand on their own — including the ones with an uncomfortable answer.

Is GEO just SEO with a new name?

No, though they share foundations. SEO optimises for a ranked list a person then clicks. GEO optimises for a synthesised answer where there may be no click at all — so what matters shifts from position to whether your brand is one of the sources the model drew on. Technical SEO still underpins it: a page a crawler cannot read is not a page a model can cite.

How do you measure whether it's working?

By tracking citation presence — running the queries your buyers actually ask across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot and AI Overviews, and recording whether you are named, how you are described, and who is named instead. That is the baseline. Non-brand organic traffic and assisted pipeline are the commercial numbers underneath it. A rank tracker alone will not tell you why a model ignored you.

Why does Arabic need separate work rather than translation?

Because Arabic and English SERPs return different competitors, different content formats and different intents for what looks like the same question. Add transliterated queries — Arabic terms typed in Latin script — and a translated page misses the actual demand. We research the two languages separately and structure them as proper hreflang counterparts.

Does structured data actually affect whether an AI cites us?

It affects whether a machine can resolve who you are. Consistent entity markup — one organisation node, the same name and address everywhere, explicit relationships between the brand, its services and its location — is what lets a model connect a question about Dubai AI automation to your specific company rather than to a category. It is not a ranking trick; it is legibility.

How long before we see results?

Technical foundations and content restructuring take four to eight weeks. Movement in AI citations tends to appear before classical rankings shift, because a model re-reads a page far more often than an index re-evaluates a domain. Meaningful compounding organic results take three to six months, and anyone promising faster is either buying the traffic or guessing.

What does GEO cost in the UAE?

We quote it as a monthly retainer scoped to the number of markets, languages and query clusters in play — a single-language local business and a bilingual multi-emirate brand are not the same engagement. Pricing is in AED and excludes 5% VAT. There is no per-keyword rate, because the unit of work is an entity and a topic, not a keyword.
